In camp, Dean McCullough remarked: "Can you imagine if Princess Diana would have done a Wagatha Christie!"

This led The Sun columnist Jane Moore to ask Coleen about the infamous ‘It’s…. Rebekah Vardy’ Instagram post.

As Coleen opened up, internet personality GK Barry questioned if she'd been scared to make the post.

She replied: “No, because I just didn’t think it would have the impact it did, because I was just that sick and tired of it, it was draining.

“That was my worst nightmare to go to court.

“I felt like it was like putting on a show for the whole world.”

The social media post on October 9, 2019 explained how Coleen had turned detective to catch out a friend who was leaking stories.

It saw her dubbed Wagatha Christie and led to the 2022 trial in the High Court.

Coleen added: “What got me, over the whole thing, was it became a bit of a joke and that’s really disappointing, it wasn’t a joke for me.

Rebekah Vardy LOSES bid to have Coleen Rooney’s Wagatha Christie court costs slashed & faces £1.6m bill

“No one knew the full story.”

The judge ruled in favour of Rooney, dismissing Vardy’s claim and ordered her to pay 90 per cent of the legal costs - a bill the women are still wrangling over today.

Sunday's I'm A Celebrity launch episode saw Wagatha Christie brought up almost instantly.

Radio 1 DJ and superfan Dean, 32, couldn't wait to get stuck into the drama.

He partnered Coleen in a race against their eight other campmates - all vying to become the first leaders.

After skydiving out of a helicopter, Dean had the choice of either Coleen or Radio 1 colleague Melvin Odoom to work with.

Rebekah's I'm A Celeb column

By Rebekah Vardy

HELLO campers. How are we doing today?

A very good day from me back from fleeing the country for the 300th time in the last year, I think.

But what an amazing opening episode. I have to say, I think it's the best one so far. So what did we have? We had disgusting cocktails. We had cockroaches, skydiving, kangaroo anus for dinner, blind Barry and an amazing trouser snake.

And I almost forgot to mention, Coleen sank in the river twice. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

So no real buddies in the camp yet, considering we're only on day one. But, I have to say, there are some great characters so far.

Danny "the trouser snake" Jones is full of energy. I love him so far, and he's definitely gonna be a real entertainer in there.

Barry McGuigan looks as fit as a butcher's dog. He is quite incredible. I think he's definitely gonna be one to watch in the jungle. It looks like him and Danny are gonna become really, really good friends.

But we don't wanna see people becoming friends. We wanna see arguments, right?

He shouted: “Melvin, I’m so so sorry! Wagatha Christie you’re coming with me!”

Grabbing Coleen, they ran to the next stage in the competition as Team Yellow.

However, they fell short with Coronation Street's Alan Halsall and singer Tulisa emerging victorious in the race.

I'm A Celebrity continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
