DARK nights and freezing temperatures mean it is officially Netflix and chill season.
But you can turn up the heat with one of 2024’s steamiest boxsets.
Telly fans were left hot under the collar this year with some bonk-busting scenes that ranged from naked tennis to full-on orgies.
We reveal the raciest sex scenes from some of the year’s hottest dramas that got pulses racing.
Rivals - Disney+
This long-awaited 80s romp of a drama got off with a bang with two of its characters joining the Mile High Club on Concorde.
Episode one opened with Alex Hassell’s character Rupert Campbell Black having a loud, passionate clinch.
The woman - who plays a journalist - is perched on the sink and climaxes just as the airplane goes supersonic and a bottle of champagne is popped open.
Emily Atack’s character Sarah Stratton also strips off for a game of naked tennis with Rupert. While clever camera angles are used to protect Emily's modesty, Hassell bares all for the racy scene, before they're interrupted and Sarah runs off.
The sex continues in the star-studded adaptation of the iconic Jilly Cooper novel as a five-minute saucy montage sees Decland and Maude, played by Aidan Turner and Victoria Smurfitt, have loud sex after an argument.
Their kids - who can hear their frolicking - turn up the music to drown out their banging against the dresser.

Bridgerton - Netflix
Ahead of the launch of series three, the show’s stars Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan teased that it would be the steamiest season yet.
And they didn’t disappoint. Fans were desperate for their characters Colin and Penelope to finally get it on - and they did it in style.
First came the heart-stopping carriage scene where Colin finally confessed his true feelings to Penelope, ending in a passionate kiss.
Then came the first time they have sex, where the stars admitted they ‘went for it’ and even broke a piece of furniture during filming.
Nicola Coughlan said: “I would say it’s like a piece of furniture that you would more see in the past than the present.
“But yeah, we did break it during a sexy scene because we were really going for it.”
Mary & George - Sky Atlantic
Julianne Moore stars in this 17th century-based romp, playing Mary Villiers, the Countess of Buckingham, and Nicholas Galitzine as her son, George.
In the show, Mary urges her son to seduce King James I of England to gain power - and the drama features numerous hot and heavy orgies.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Nicholas says things were so full-on that he had to film multiple sizzling scenes a day.
“There was one day where we did about four sex scenes in one day," he said.
"I was going from room to room meeting strangers and saying, ‘Hi, I am Nick, nice to meet you. OK, this is the position we’re going to be in’."
Nicholas revealed the cast had an "intimacy coordinator" to help them with the kinky scenes.
He added: "We had such a wonderful intimacy coordinator, and for the day players who came in for these singular scenes, I hope I made them feel comfortable. But I'm so proud of all that work that we did together.”
Aussie Shore - Paramount+
With its explicit sex scenes, full frontal nudity and potty-mouthed stars, Aussie Shore has been billed as the most X-rated show Down Under.
The booze-fuelled party series kicked off with some of the most graphic scenes Aussie viewers have ever seen, with two of the housemates doing some truly disgusting things to each other in the pool.
Another housemate Lily, 21, declared herself a 'professional flirter' who has 'the best rack ever' and once slept with her boss 'in the work freezer’.
Brunette Lily sunbathed topless by the pool and slept with her co-star Con, 27, on the first night.
The show, hosted by original Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby, has caused outraged with some viewers fearing it may be pulled from the screen.
One Day - Netflix
The will-they-won’t-they drama had viewers binge-watching the 14 episode series based on David Nicholls’ hit book.
And there were plenty of steamy scenes to get temperatures rising during the 20-year love story between Dexter and Emma, played by Leo Woodall and Ambika Mod.
There are passionate kisses, illicit romps, steamy showers, skinny dipping and shots of Dexter’s bare bum.
The drama opens with an ‘almost’ one night stand between Dexter and Emma which sets the scene for a heart-stopping drama with plenty of spine-tingling moments.
Joan - ITVx
Set in the glitzy 80s with big hair and even bigger shoulder pads, Joan tells the true story of real-life single mum and jewel thief Joan Hannington.
The story in itself is wild - but even wilder is the sexual chemistry between Sophie Turner’s Joan and dodgy antique dealer Boisie, played by Frankie Dillane.
TV sex is back in fashion... and more vital than ever
By Sun Sexpert Georgette Culley
NOT only are sex scenes fun and entertaining but they can also be educational.
By showcasing intimate relationships in a variety of contexts, these scenes can offer viewers a more realistic understanding of sex and relationships, breaking down myths and misconceptions that often surround these topics.
Many series now emphasise the importance of consent and communication, helping viewers recognise these as fundamental components of a healthy sexual relationship. This can be especially helpful for younger audiences who might not receive good sex education elsewhere.
What’s more, diverse representations of sex in TV series can help normalise different sexual orientations, kinks and body types - empowering viewers to in and out of the bedroom.
Ultimately, including sex in TV series goes beyond mere entertainment, which is why I'm thrilled to see more sizzling shows than ever.
Men had always let Joan down - from her abusive dad to her daughter’s father Gary who leaves Joan and daughter Kelly high and dry when he goes on the run from some gangsters.
So when she meets Boisie she is understandably determined not to get too involved - but the sexual tension between them proves too much, leading to passionate kisses and steamy sex scenes.
Mr and Mrs Smith - Amazon Prime
In the original film, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s chemistry was so strong that it helped kill off Brad’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston and Brangelina was born.
In this remake, Brad and Angie were replaced by Donald Glover and Maya Erskine as the new John and Jane Smith - but the chemistry is no less fiery.
The pair play undercover spies who pose as a married couple to fool their victims.
Their love-hate relationship soon spirals into spicy sexual tension, sparking some sizzling between-the-sheets action.
Daddy Issues - BBC iPlayer
As Aimee Gibbs in Sex Education, actress Aimee Lou Wood had more than her fair share of sex scenes.
And her very first scene in comedy drama Daddy Issues continues the theme as her character Gemma hooks up with an older man atop the sink in an inflight toilet on a plane landing into Manchester Airport.

Two months later Gemma discovers she is pregnant - but that doesn’t stop her continuing with one-night stands.
But the show isn’t all about steamy scenes. It has plenty of laughs too as Gemma’s hapless dad Malcolm, played by David Morrissey, moves in with her as she prepares to give birth.
