Watch as Bob Geldof ‘leaks’ The One Show secret live on air – leaving viewers ‘feeling lied to’
One of the hosts has hinted she'd love to do Strictly next year
THE One Show fans were left “feeling lied to” after Bob Geldof appeared to reveal a huge secret about the show live on air.
Bob, 73, appeared on The One Show on Monday night to share the brand new Band Aid 40 music video.
He sat down with Alex Jones and Angellica Bell, who also chatted to comedian Ricky Gervais.
As he stopped himself from swearing on the pre-watershed programme, Bob said: “I was going to say a rude word there, I’m not allowed, it’s one o’clock…”
Fans immediately rushed to social media after Bob’s comment, noting that The One Show is usually broadcast live from 7pm.
One wrote: “The One Show tonight 7pm.
“While been interviewed Bob Geldof said it’s One O’clock now thought the show was a live broadcast.
“Or was this a recorded show. Has Sir Bob inadvertently given us something we didn’t know.”
Someone else wrote: “Bob Geldof, ‘It’s One O’Clock’. Is it? I thought this was live?”
And a third added: “Did Bob just say it’s one o’clock?”
It comes after Angellica revealed she’d love to take part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2025.
Despite Strictly‘s scandal earlier this year involving Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima‘s conduct on the show, Angellica is still up for the challenge.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, the 48-year-old said: “I haven’t read all of it, but what I have, there’s been stuff where people say it’s lovely.
“They love it. I know Nick Knowles really well. And who else has done it? Fleur East.
“So people have done it and say it’s really good. So when I’ve had like in-depth conversations with people who are my friends and they say it’s great, I would definitely go from their recommendation. And they always say, oh, you should do it.
“So, you know, I think you have to. I think everyone’s experience has been different. But all I know is I go into it and just be like, right. How much do I have to move my hips?”
