DEAN McCullough celebrated his best ever Bushtucker Trial result this week, gaining 10 out of 12 stars.

But after receiving his sixth public vote, the Radio One DJ has faced a backlash of I’m a Celebrity fans, who accuse him of faking his fears.

Even host Ant McPartlin was getting fed up of his hysterics, as he vented on Unpacked: “Who’s still voting for Dean, I don’t get it.”

But in the show's 20 year history, there has always been one or two celebrities, picked on to perform the most trials.

Here we take a look back at our favourite celebs under pressure in the jungle.

Adam Thomas- 12 Trials

The Waterloo road actor took part in the sixteenth series of the show, finishing in third place behind Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett.

During his time he took part in 12 trials, leading Ant N Dec to nickname him, Mr Bushtucker.

One grisly task was knickerboker gory, which saw him in a giant glass, covered in fish guts and thousands of creepy crawlies. After the task Adam Joked that he should win a TV award for his efforts.

Gogglebox star Scarlett Mofatt was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2016, after the public voted for her to partake of 10 trials. The reality star won a lot of laughs and support for her eating challenge, when she pulled some hilarious faces munching on a camel's nipple. After acing the trial alongside Carol Vorderman, social media was awash with support, which continued until she won the show.

Janice Dickinson- 10 Trials

Known as the ‘first supermodel’ Dickinson competed in the seventh series of I’m a Celebrity where she finished as runner up behind Christopher Biggins who won the show back in 2007. During her time the former New York model faced 10 challenges.

Janice had been such a trooper that she was invited back to the All Stars spin off show in South Africa in 2023, where fans enjoyed watching her chomping on fish eyes.

Joel Dommett- 10 Trials

The comedian and presenter appeared on I’m a Celeb in 2016 and was voted to perform in 10 trials in which he impressed he fellow camp mates and audiences at home.

Finishing as runner up behind Scarlett Moffatt, Joel clearly impressed TV bosses, as he was asked to present the spin off show, I’m a Celebrity extra camp, now, Unpacked in 2017, before landing his major hosting role on The Masked Singer in 2019.

Jacqueline Jossa- 10 Trials

EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa was crowned Queen of the jungle in 2019 and was popular from the get go.

After competing in 10 trials she took home a total of 76 stars for her campmates. Jacqueline brought humour and hilarity to all of her tasks and was a favourite with the viewers.

Matt Hancock- 6 Trials

The former health secretary’s decision to go into the Jungle was met with controversy after his whopping £320,000 fee was revealed. But Hancock then donated 10 per cent of his earnings to various charities.

The 46-year-old joined the jungle on day 4 and took part in six trials gainging around 53 stars for his campmates in total.
