STEPHEN Mulhern has been replaced on an ITV show by a Coronation Street legend after difficult weeks following his father's sad death.
Stephen, 47, is one of ITV's most popular presenters thanks to his roles on Deal or No Deal, Dancing on Ice and Catchphrase.
The star also presides over The Big Soap Quiz each year, and was set to host the 2024 edition.
But sadly, following his father Christopher's death, Stephen has had to take a step back from hosting duties, and has been replaced by Sally Lindsay.
Sally, 51, knows a lot about soaps thanks to her role as Shelley Unwin in Coronation Street from 2001 to 2006.
Stephen normally keeps details of his private life tightly under wraps, but news of his dad's death was revealed this week after the presenter was taken to hospital.

The Sun exclusively revealed how Stephen collapsed while enjoying a solo meal at a Pizza Express.
Stephen had been drinking with his meal but is believed to have reacted to an anaesthetic he had for an operation earlier in the day.
An ambulance was called after staff became concerned Stephen at around 8pm on Wednesday.
He was checked over by paramedics and taken from Sunningdale, Berks, to nearby Frimley Park hospital in Camberley, Surrey, as a precaution.
A source told The Sun: “Stephen has been going through an incredibly tough time of late. He is grieving the loss of his dad to whom he was so, so close.

"He’s also been battling several well-documented health problems, and on Wednesday morning had a procedure requiring a local anaesthetic.
“He took himself off for a quiet, solo dinner that evening, had a few drinks and just reacted incredibly badly. He’s only human, and his dad’s death has hit him hard.“Stephen immediately felt unwell and concerned staff came over, and called 999. Paramedics checked him over and took him to hospital as a precaution.
"He was also put on the phone to his mum to reassure her that he was OK. Stephen is recovering well at home now, and is resting up.
“He’s so grateful for the care he received, and is mortified that he had such an awful — and public — reaction to the anaesthetic.”
The Big Soap Quiz sees cast members from Coronation Street and Emmerdale go head to head.
Team captains are usually Corrie's Jack P. Shepherd - who plays David Platt - and Mark Charnock, who is best known for his role as Marlon Dingle in Emmerdale.
However, the team captains and team members who will be grilled on the biggest soap moments of the year have yet to be confirmed for the 2024 edition.
