MAURA Higgins appeared to finally open up about her romantic connection with Pete Wicks during an emotional conversation around the campfire on I’m A Celebrity.
While chatting with fellow campmates, the Love Island alum admitted she was seeing someone before entering the jungle - and she was "missing him".
When pressed by Rev Richard about the exclusivity of the relationship, Maura looked thoughtful and said "I dunno".
He continued to dig for more information, asking: "What are the rules?"
Maura burst into nervous laughter, admitting: "I don't know the rules! I don't know the rules."
However, she did coyly admit that her mystery man was someone recognisable.

As the conversation unfolded, Maura confessed she has been missing him during her time in the jungle.
She admitted: "It does [feel different this time], but then is it because we’ve known each other for a long time?"
With a smile, she added: "He’s not an a**hole."
Maura's comments follow months of speculation about her relationship with Pete Wicks, as first revealed by The Sun.

The duo set tongues wagging earlier this year after being spotted kissing at several high-profile events, including the Pride of Britain Awards.
Paparazzi also captured them on a cozy date night at London hotspot Gloria, where they were "all over each other".
However, before Maura jetted off to the jungle, a source revealed that she had put the brakes on their romance because of Pete’s reputation and his rumoured closeness with Strictly Come Dancing partner Jowita Przystal.
They told : "She gave him an ultimatum: either commit to her or let it go.
"So she went off a single woman."
The insider now suggests Pete has stepped up, "openly expressing his feelings" for Maura while cooling his rumored flirtations.
While Maura remains tight-lipped about the future of their connection, her campfire confession hints at deeper feelings brewing.
Fans will no doubt be eagerly waiting to see if their romance rekindles once she leaves the jungle - or even if Pete is waiting to greet her at the famous bridge.
