MAURA Higgins told her I'm A Celebrity campmates about being pictured with her tongue down Pete Wicks' throat in tonight's episode.
The Irish beauty has long been linked with Pete, and last night she appeared to pine for him in camp.
In tonight's show, their romance was once again brought up, but this time Maura insisted she was single, even if the pair have shared some passionate snogs.
Confiding in co-star GK Barry while washing her undies in the creek, Maura said: “I get it in a sense because I know I was on a dating show, but it was five years ago.”
Keeping coy on her romance with Pete, she said: “You know more than me! No, I'm single. People can date and not be in a relationship and take things slow.
“What’s the point in getting them involved too soon, when you just don’t know where it’s gonna go, you know?”

Maura then admitted any man she does bed inevitably gets discussed in great detail with her mum.
She explained: “I talk to my mum about... I mean if I slept with a guy, my mum will ask me, ‘Well, what was he like in the bed?’ and she will get every gory detail.”

The duo set tongues wagging earlier this year after being spotted kissing at several high-profile events, including the Pride of Britain Awards.
Paparazzi also captured them on a cozy date night at London hotspot Gloria, where they were "all over each other".
However, before Maura jetted off to the jungle, a source revealed that she had put the brakes on their romance because of Pete’s reputation and his rumoured closeness with Strictly Come Dancing partner Jowita Przystal.
They told : "She gave him an ultimatum: either commit to her or let it go.
"So she went off a single woman."
The insider now suggests Pete has stepped up, "openly expressing his feelings" for Maura while cooling his rumored flirtations.
