Wolf Hall, Black Mirror and Happy Valley stars sign up for gritty new limited Sky thriller Inheritance
WOLF Hall, Black Mirror and Happy Valley stars have all signed up for gritty new Limited Sky thriller Inheritance.
Inheritance by Storm Saulter, written by Karla Crome and stars Loki's Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Trainspotting's Jonny Lee Miller, Bob Marley One Love's Sheldon Shepherd and A Royal Night Out's Bel Powley.
It also features Wolf Hall's Richard Dillane and Happy Valley and Black Mirror's Jack Bandeira.
Set in Bristol, UK and Jamaica, the story follows a mixed-race lawyer investigating an inheritance claim on the Caribbean island.
Gugu plays Claudia, who travels to Jamaica as Cudjoe East, played by Sheldon who has filed a claim against a rich white gentleman called Oliver Connaught, played by Jonny.
But when she gets to the Connaught family’s Jamaican plantation, she discovers that Hope Hill feels a chilling connection between history and the present day.

Other familiar faces including Bob Marley: One Love's Nadean Rawlins plays Mercy, Day of the Jackal's Diveen Henry plays Flora and Death In Paradise's Shantol Jackson stars as Sarah.
There's also Slow Horses star Sean Gilder as Tom McKenzie and The Fire Inside Me's Olunike Adeliyi as Patsy Dawkins.

Meanwhile, Ruth Kenley-Letts, Executive Producer and CEO of Snowed-In Productions, and Jenny van der Lande, Executive Producer, issued a joint statement.
