HEARTSTOPPER'S Bradley Riches has made a worrying comment about the future of the hit Netflix show saying ‘it can’t end like this’.
The popular programme premiered on the streaming service in April 2022, followed by the second and third series in August and October this year.
Fans have been dying to know if Heartstopper will return for a fourth season.
Bradley, who plays James McEwan in the show, opened up about what he thinks in an exclusive chat with The Sun.
He told us: "There's nothing in the pipeline yet, like nothing's been confirmed nor denied.
"So we're we're all praying.

"We're hoping that there'll be another season, but obviously Alice needs to write another book - to make more content for the series, so only time will tell, we don't know anything.
"So I think everyone would love to like just just to finish the whole show off because I think the best thing about Heartstopper is that it's got such a big fan base, and everyone feels so seen watching it."
Bradley continued: "It can't end like this.
"They need to be like 'the final season of Heartstopper coming out in two years' - like they need to do that.

"And they can't just be like, well, that happened...
"So yeah, we're hoping. I think it'll be great to just to finish off the story."
Heartstopper is based on author Alice Oseman's novel of a teenage romance.
While Bradley's alter-ego briefly appeared on the last series, he's busy with his new panto role as Peter Pan this Christmas.
The star is playing the protagonist of the show at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre between December 6 2024 and January 5 2025.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star is excited for the live shows to start tomorrow - and he has an incredible stunt to do too.

Bradley told us: " Fern... funny actually, I found this out yesterday.
"Fern is actually doing the narrator's voice at the beginning!
