Danny, who was seen embracing wife Georgia on the jungle bridge after his victory, told how family life during the past six months had not gone to plan.

The dad of one told show host Lorraine Kelly, 65, how he was meant to have six months off after TV show The Voice wrapped, in which he is a judge with bandmate Tom Fletcher.

Yet the Shine A Light singer then let slip: "I was meant to move house.

"But when I'm A Celeb came in, I said to them 'sod it, let's do it.'"

Danny's lavish former home, which he shares with Georgia and son Cooper, boasted its own recording studio and a perfect garden.

His kitchen had pristine white cupboards, a breakfast island and huge windows that looked out onto the family's gorgeous garden.

The open space also featured a wooden panelled wall decorated with fairy lights - making it the perfect backdrop for the live music sessions that he posted for fans during the Coronavirus lockdown.

Yet it was his wife who managed the huge re-location in Danny's absence, admitting she was a "broken woman" after undertaking the feat solo.

During his stint in the jungle, Georgia admitted she was "very emotional" and didn't want to leave their former home, but said they did it for their son.

Danny is most well-known for his role in popular boyband McFly alongside Tom, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter.

He has been performing with the band since 2003, with their first album, Room on the Third Floor, being released in 2004.

During the same chat, he admitted he felt "overwhelmed" by his show win and added: "When people are voting for me being myself, it's really rewarding."

Talking about Georgia and Copper visiting camp earlier in the series, he added: "That was the best surprise I have had in my life, to see them smiling at me.

"That was unbelievable."

Aside from moving into his new home, Danny is now in talks for massive new ITV roles, The Sun exclusively revealed.

He is already a judge on The Voice UK, alongside his bandmate Tom Fletcher, but insiders said telly bosses are keen to sign him up for more shows.

A source said: “Danny is the embodiment of everything ITV loves. He’s fun, family friendly and incredibly popular.

"ITV bosses want to see if they can sign him on for another series of The Voice UK and there are other shows they think he could be perfect on.”

Danny won over I’m A Celeb viewers early on as he opened up on his struggles with mental health.
