I'M A Celebrity star Danny Jones has revealed how show bosses smuggled him out to see his family in the jungle, with blackout windows and a towel over his head.
The McFly star became the second member of the band to be crowned King of the Jungle when he won the ITV reality show on Sunday.
He followed in the footsteps of Dougie Poynter who scooped the title back in 2011.
And since leaving the show, he’s opened up about his time on I’m A Celeb.
He spoke to his McFly bandmate Harry Judd and TV presenter Alex Jones on their podcast, and Harry said that he was “blubbing his eyes out at home” when Danny’s wife Georgia and son Cooper went into the jungle.

Danny replied: “I hadn’t seen them and had been in a lockdown before with no phone and that.
“So it had been pretty much a month since I’d seen them or had any contact and the crew were amazing.
“It’s a really big bit of land you’re on so when you do a trial or anything like that, you get in a van and it’s blacked out and you have a towel over your head.
“It’s almost like SAS and you’re getting captured almost, and it’s all like the psychology of not letting you leave the camp.”

Danny went on: “I thought it was a challenge, and the guy said to me ‘just walk through the bushes and read the laminate.’
“So I walked through the bushes and my family were there and it was the best surprise I’d ever had in my life.”
Danny’s reunion scenes with his family had I’m A Celeb fans in tears.
But some were left claiming the stars were given 'extra air time' during the family reunion special.
Both Danny Jones and Coleen Rooney were paid a visit by their sons in the jungle and cried as they hugged them for the first time in more than three weeks.
McFly star Danny was first up with a surprise appearance from his six-year-old son Cooper and his wife Georgia.
Coleen was later left gobsmacked after finding her mum Colette sat in the Leaders' Lodge thrones.
Moments later, her youngest sons Kit, eight, and six-year-old Cass came strolling out from between the trees.
In comparison, Coronation Street star Alan Halsall sat on a rock in a clearing for a chat with his brother, while GK Barry briefly spoke to her mum by the rock pool.

Reverend Richard Coles was able to catch up with his brother in the jungle and Oti Mabuse was met by her husband - but their baby wasn't there.
But taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan complained: "Why does Danny get 2 visitors and twice as long as anyone else…or twice the airtime? Come on @ITV youre over egging the Danny to win fix #ImACeleb."
