Gavin and Stacey’s Joanna Page lands new TV gig just days before final ever episode of hit BBC comedy
GAVIN and Stacey’s Joanna Page has landed a new TV role days before final ever episode of the hit BBC comedy.
Joanna plays Stacey from Barry Island in the hit show, who married Gavin from Essex 17 years ago.
The final ever episode will air on Christmas Day on BBC One.
But viewers won't have to wait long to see Joanna again, as just a few days later, the 47-year-old will appear on Graham Norton's Wheel of Fortune.
She'll be joined by Hollywood legend Richard E Grant and Strictly Come Dancing's Tyler West.
Joanna said: “I loved watching Wheel of Fortune over the years and to have the chance to spin the wheel this Christmas is very exciting!

After the celebrity special, the rest of the shows will continue in the new year, marking its 50th anniversary.
In the celebrity special, the stars will test their word puzzle abilities against each other as they spin the wheel to win £50,000 for their chosen charities.
Ahead of the launch of the second series this autumn, Graham Norton said: "I'm thrilled we are coming back for a second series to challenge more contestants to solve more word puzzles and hopefully they will come away with even more cash."
The episode featuring Joanna will air on Saturday, December 28, at 7 pm. on ITV1 and ITVX.
This will follow hot on the heels of the festive episode and final ever Gavin and Stacey, which will be shown on Christmas Day at 9p.m.
