Geordie Shore star engaged after whirlwind romance as she shows off diamond ring after being fired from reality show

GEORDIE Shore's Dee Nguyen is engaged to her boyfriend of two years.

The former show star revealed her diamond ring as she cuddled up to her new fiancé Ollie Diggins.

Dee, 31, shared snaps of her moments after the proposal in Palau in Micronesia.

She captioned the post: "2 years ago I referred to you as 'pool boy', you then became 'boyfriend' and now I get to call you 'fiancé'."

After starring in Geordie Shore, Dee became one of the stars of MTV's hit show .

She was a part of the winning War Of The Worlds 2 team before she was suddenly dropped by the network after she tweeted offensive remarks about the Black Lives Matter movement.

Dee hit the headlines again in 2022 when she was forced to apologise for mocking a disabled man's dating profile in a TikTok video.

The quadriplegic artist and podcaster Kyle Montgomery shared the video over its "harmful, casual ableism".

Dee apologised after the post went viral, writing: "A few weeks ago I made that stupid TikTok video... when I came across Kyle's profile, he responded to one of my prompts saying that he wanted to go dance with me.

"I scroll down, I saw that he was in a wheelchair - there's nothing wrong with that, by the way - I scroll down and I listen to one of his voice prompts that said, 'If you're not a fan of f**ked-up, dark humour, then we probably wont get along.'

"Obviously, I thought that it was punny [a funny pun] and I didn't mean to post that video in a way that was mocking him.

"So when he reached out saying he was thoroughly upset, I personally DM'd him and said I was sorry."
