Strictly Come Dancing fans slam decision in final and complain ‘it’s not fair’

The winner will be announced tonight

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have hit out at the show for an "unfair" decision during the live final on Saturday night.

The remaining pairs are set to battle it out during a spectacular two-and-a-half-hour extravaganza to win the coveted Glitterball Trophy.

The couples took to the dancefloor three times - first by the number chosen by the judges, then with their show dances and finally with their favourite routines of the series.

Blind comedian Chris McCausland and Aussie pro Dianne Buswell, JLS star JB Gill and pro Lauren Oakley, actress Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, and Love Island's Tasha Ghouri and Ajaz Skorjanec took to the dancefloor for the last time.

The judges announced that Chris and Tasha had been selected to perform a Couple's Choice routine as one of their three routines.

Some fans thought it was not fair on the other two couples.

One wrote: "Ooooo! Should we be allowing couples to do their couple’s choice again in the final? Doesn’t seem fair if they aren’t all doing them."

A second said: "I've always said a Couples Choice should never be a judges choice because it's a similar rule for the show dance."

A third commented: "Chris & Tasha should've had one Latin & one ballroom dance each to make it fair." A fourth viewer posted: "Tasha was brilliant as ever - but couples choice does not belong in the final when they've got their show dance to do later on."

Chris performed a Show Dance to You Get What You Give by New Radicals, a Couple’s Choice to Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) by John Lennon and a Waltz to You’ll Never Walk Alone by Gerry and the Pacemakers.
