STEPHEN Mulhern yanked a man out of his seat in the Royal Variety Show audience and told him to "get out".
The 47-year-old was performing a magic trick during the Royal Variety Show when he enlisted help from an audience member.
Presenter Stephen explained ahead of trick that he had a confetti detonator that he needed the man to set off at the right time.
He added: "I need to show you this, this here is a detonator. Now, let me tell you, when you press this button here, it changes the entire show.
"It sets off fireworks, it changes the lighting, it changes the music.
"So, we need somebody very responsible to look after this!"

After instructing audience member Adam to help, Stephen made his way back onto the stage and told the audience: "There's a reason I do this trick, I don't want to bring the atmosphere down, but my grandad taught me how to do this trick when I was just 11 years old.
"Sadly, my grandad passed away two weeks ago..."
But it was at this poignant moment that the confetti went off - resulting in Stephen yelling: "Stop this!"
He pointed at Adam and said: "That was the wrong time, my friend!"

He then yanked a laughing Adam out of his seat and told him: "Get out and stay out, I'm not joking."
Luckily, the audience saw the funny side and laughed through Adam's supposed slip-up - which was all part of the act.
Following his performance Stephen paid tribute to his late father Christopher, ending his act by saying: "That was for you, Dad."
