It sees the show's presenters try and win the viewer on the phone a cash prize of up to £3,000 - but it all depends on where the wheel stops.

The segment had been replaced by a new coin drop game, before it was brought back just weeks ago by This Morning bosses.

However, eagle-eyed viewers have noticed the prize pot has significantly dropped - with the jackpot now just £1k.

Taking to a web forum, one viewer said: "Since when has Spin to Win prize amount been so low… only went up to £1000, today’s caller had £500 pounds! Didn’t it used to go up to at least £3000?"

A second wrote: "Yes it did. It's been given a real deterioration prize value wise."

"Since they brought Spin To Win back a few weeks ago the prizes have been a lot smaller," said a third.

While a fourth chimed in: "I’m guessing on the previous game they played (I can’t remember the title but they dropped a token from the top which landed in a prize slot below) they gave away such large amounts, they decided to reduce the prize amounts this time round to save their bank balances."

Meanwhile, This Morning's long-serving boss Martin Frizell announced his departure from the show last month.
