Meanwhile, This Morning viewers were recently left with their stomach turning after witnessing a "raw turkey" be cut up on air.

Josie Gibson and Dermot O'Leary welcomed Paul Kelly, who holds the Guinness World Record for fastest turkey carving.

As he explained the best way to serve up the festive bird, fans were distracted by the pink meat that was revealed.

One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “That bloke carving the turkey needs to get down to Specsavers if he thinks that pink meat is dark meat."

Another declared: "That turkey is so pink I can still hear it gobble-gobble!”

While a third joked: "ah yes we can make turkey tartare?”

A fourth chimed in: “A good vet could get that turkey back on its feet no problem."
