The Vivienne was ‘found dead by star’s distraught father just days before planned house move’

RUPAUL’S Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne was found dead by their distraught father, a pal revealed.

The friend said the 32-year-old TV performer, real name James Lee Williams, was found dead by their heartbroken dad and stepmum on Sunday.

The source told The Sun: “Their devastated dad raised the alarm and believed they had passed away a day or two before being found.”

James was due to move to a £400,000 house next week, and had a holiday lined up.

The pal added: “They were planning a tour and really had everything to live for.”

Cops said there were no suspicious circumstances relating to the death in Chorlton-by-Backford, near Chester.

Relatives will not know the cause until a post mortem is carried out.

Colin Grafton, who skated alongside The Vivienne on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, paid tribute to the late TV star, saying: “They truly brought light into every room they entered and gave so many people hope where there was none.”

James, who also had his own BBC Three series The Vivienne Takes on Hollywood, died ‘suddenly’, their publicist Simon Jones confirmed on Sunday night.

Simon shared: “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved James Lee Williams – The Vivienne, has passed this weekend.

“James was an incredibly loved, warm-hearted, and amazing person.

“Their family is heartbroken at the loss of their son, brother, and uncle.

“They are so proud of the wonderful things James achieved in their life and career."
