GREEDY boxer David Haye has got a lot to answer for.

His reported throuple with Sian Osborne and Una Healy – which Una denied — not only made lads dream of having two women, it also seems to have inspired a TV show.

David Haye’s infamous 'throuple' has inspired a shock new TV show which follows a couple’s move into polygamy

A series about couples thinking of swapping monogamy for adventure is now in development.

That may involve making their relationship “open” or working with others on some sort of “group dynamic”.

An ad for participants says: “Have you been questioning mono-gamy? A major broadcaster is making a documentary exploring the journey from monogamy to ethical non-monogamy or polyamory.

“We are casting couples who are    thinking of exploring an open relationship or are in the early stages of exploring  this relationship style.

“If this sounds like where you’re at, we would love to hear from you. Reach out for a no-obligation chat.”

The appeal has been made by Brinkworth, a TV production firm that has made a great variety of shows for different channels — including Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair for ITV, Cold Case Investigators for the BBC and Surgeons: A Matter Of Life Or Death for Channel 5.

It’s unclear which major broadcaster the new show is being made for, but Channel 4 or BBC Three seem likely candidates.

I revealed last year how E4 was making a second run of Love Triangle, a reality series that follows unlucky-in-love singles who are matched with two potential partners in the hope of finding romance.

They then pick one to move in with before, in a twist, the second arrives to join the love nest.

The new show is expected to be equally complicated.

NOD OF ED FOR JACKAL

IT was praised by viewers and critics alike, now Sky’s adaptation of The Day Of The Jackal has got the approval of someone equally important – Edward Fox.

The actor played the central character in the 1973 movie.

And though the storyline has been given a modern twist, there were nods to the original, including scenes where new lead Eddie Redmayne wore the same outfits as Edward.

Now his daughter, Silent Witness star Emilia Fox, has confirmed he likes the 2024 version with Eddie.

She told the Spooning With Mark Wogan podcast: “I’m watching it now. I think it’s great, and I think Eddie has made it his own totally. Dad absolutely celebrates Eddie doing it .

“It’s a good time to remake it. The wardrobe is good, and lovely homages to Dad in what he wore. Dad has still got his costumes, he’s still wearing them.”

WHO’S THE TEA LEAF?

Sarah Lancashire’s Happy Valley cop character is never referred to by name in the new Yorkshire Tea advert

SHE looks like Catherine Cawood, she sounds like Catherine Cawood and she certainly acts like Catherine Cawood.

But you’ll notice that Sarah Lancashire’s Happy Valley cop character is never referred to by name in the new Yorkshire Tea advert, which debuted tonight on ITV.

That’s probably because, even though it’s a blatant homage to hero sergeant Catherine, it’s a tad tricky to use a BBC drama character in an ad shown on commercial channels.

You’ll note that Sarah is not even in police gear, but instead wears an outfit labelled “Yorkshire Tea Security”.

The tricky manoeuvres might also explain why the ad is only coming out now, a year after the finale of Happy Valley on BBC One.

Even so, it’s a brilliant parody, as “Catherine” tracks a biscuit thief as if it was the crime of the century.

All of which shows that Sarah is either a tremendous sport, or the tea firm offered her a big bag . . . of money.

Whichever way, good for her.

NEWBIE ON THE WARDS

HOSPITAL drama Casualty is getting a new young member of staff in the form of Indie Jankowski, Holby City’s first ever student paramedic.

She will be played by Naomi Wakszlak in the new series which starts tomorrow on BBC One.

Show bosses are describing the newcomer as “baby-faced” but Indie is clearly also a steely sort who will hit the ward running.

A source said of her: “She is a force to be reckoned with and will be determined to make her mark.”

Naomi can’t wait to get going and said of her upcoming role: “It’s a huge honour to work on BBC’s Casualty and join the incredible cast and crew here in making one of the UK’s best-loved series.

“I hope you’ll all love Indie as much as I do.”

Casualty is available to view from tomorrow at 6am on BBC iPlayer and can be seen at 9.15pm on BBC One.
