Sam Thompson sparks rumours he’s returning to reality TV as he sets his sights on stunning show stars after Zara split

SAM Thompson has sparked rumours he’s returning to reality TV after his split from Zara McDermott.

Made In Chelsea alum Sam, 32, appears to have set his sights on show stars Jasmine 'Jazz' Saunders, 23, and Jules Pollard, 21, having given them both a follow on Instagram.

The Hits Radio DJ, who only parted ways with Zara, 28, at the turn of the New Year, has sent MIC fans into a frenzy with speculation about a possible comeback.

Taking to a Reddit forum, one noticed he'd even liked a snap of them both posing with each other.

They wrote: "Oh good god. He just started following Jazz and Jules on Instagram and just liked the pic of them together. What the hell lmao. Next season gonna be Sammy T and Jazz, good lord dude needs to grow the f**k up.

"In his 30s and wants to be just like his old buddy Reza. Running around in a club screaming about girls a decade or more younger and cheating. Christ."

Someone else added: "He did admit he is still a big fan of the show and still watches it," while a third gushed: "Please bring Sam T back haha."

Sam has seen his career go from strength to strength since quitting the E4 favourite in 2021, going on to win I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here two years later.

Having landed a hosting gig on spin-off show, Unpacked, and climbing the podcast charts with his and Pete Wicks' podcast, others remain skeptical about his reality comeback.

Someone said: "Oh wow is he actually coming back to the show tho ?? I’d be very surprised if he does with everything else that he’s busy with at the mo, I wouldn’t think he would have the time or really want to come back imo. Like I just don’t think he even needs the show anymore lie the cast currently there."

Another agreed: "He’s doing really well on different ITV shows and with his podcast so I can’t see him coming back to MIC. Maybe for a little cameo but not a regular, surely."

Sam and Zara parted ways before Christmas and in the new edition of Staying Relevant, Sam told best pal Pete it had been a very "tough time".

Amid it all, Pete shut himself off over the festive period, which he spent with Maura Higgins.

"I went off radar for a couple of weeks, I put my phone in a drawer and disappeared," Pete said.

Sam then joked: "I've been going through some stuff Pete and I called you 15 times."

Pete replied: "I did feel bad, I went off radar and I didn't realise you were effectively on the edge over Christmas."

"It didn't feel right! 'Pete was in a really nice retreat somewhere in the world, having a great time, sitting in a hot tub being really wholesome," Sam said, seemingly contrasting that to his "tough" time recently.

Pete went on to explain how he did call Sam, to which Sam said "it was like being in a Christmas tomb".

The Made in Chelsea star told his pal: "I've been sat in the house surrounded by Christmas stuff and I don't feel Christmassy."

Pete added: "I had calls from our PR, our team, everyone saying you had nonstop spoken to them over the Christmas period and said please can you call him, please can you call him?"

It was reported that Sam and Zara had been living separate lives for months.

"Although they have known it’s been over for a while, Sam and Zara are both devastated and heartbroken that they couldn’t make it work as they had so much love for each other," a source shared to  in the wake of their split.

The source added that when the couple "had problems" back in the summer they "vowed to give it one more try" and hoped that they could "work through their issues".

But the pair's hopes of remaining together were dashed when it was proven to be impossible due to them being a "different stages in their lives".
