Coronation Street legend Samia Longchambon is charging fans of the show £45 to hear her chat about her 25 years on the cobbles.

She has signed up to appear at a tell-all Audience with… event in a bid to cash in amid the rumours that the soap is in crisis.

The actress, who has played Maria Connor on the ITV soap since 2000, has announced that she will take to the stage for the very first time to reveal all about her time on the soap.

The two-hour-long event will be held at Yorkshire’s Silsden Town Hall in June.

Samia will give audience members a rare insight into her fictional life on the Street as she spills everything on her dramatic storylines.

She will also give fans details on her upbringing and her other TV roles prior to appearing on the soap opera.

Tickets for the 150-capacity event are priced around £30 and Samia will also offer the fans the chance to meet her and pose for a selfie after the show for £45 a ticket.

News of Samia’s money making live show comes just days after the actress hit back at a talent agent who suggested that she could be the next cast member to be axed.

Samia is said to have been left furious after celebrity agent Melanie Blake, who represents a number of Samia’s Corrie co-stars, suggested that Samia’s character had outstayed her welcome on the show.

Implying that she should be the next to be axed by bosses amid the ongoing crisis which has seen six of the soap's cast leave in a number of weeks.

Coronation Street couple split after five years as huge betrayal is exposed

Last week The Sun told how Charlotte Jordan, 28, who plays Rovers barmaid Daisy Midgeley, will bow out later this year.

Charlotte told sources that despite “loving the show” she is hungry to see what other opportunities await.

Her exit came after four actors announced they are quitting or have been written out of the soap since December.

Colson Smith (Craig Tinker), Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw), Luca Toolan (Mason Radcliffe) and Sue Devaney (Debbie Webster) are quitting or have been written out.

And we revealed yesterday that veteran Shelley King has become the latest star to leave the soap making her the sixth to leave.

The actress has played Yasmeen Metcalfe on the cobbles for the past 11 years and has now finished filming her final scenes.

Shelley, 69, will appear for the last time on the ITV soap in March, though it's not clear how she'll exit Weatherfield.

A TV insider said: "This will be another blow for fans of the show, as Yasmeen is a much-loved character who's part of the fabric of Corrie.

"She's had some huge storylines since she joined the soap in 2014, and she'll be sorely missed by cast and crew.

"It’s understood she is leaving so she can explore other projects."

We recently told how actors have vented their fury on a WhatsApp group over fears they could be next to be cut.

Insiders told The Sun that Weatherfield is uneasy, with mid-ranking actors and younger stars fearing they face the chop in a bid to save costs.

Corrie legend Helen Worth, 74, who played Gail Platt, also had her final scenes on Christmas Day after 50 years on the soap.

Insiders said rising costs and falling advertising revenue has piled on pressure.
