Dancing On Ice in new ‘fix’ row as fans spot ‘baffling’ voting decision, saying ‘It’s not fair!’
DANCING On Ice has been caught up in a new 'fix' row after fans spotted a 'baffling' voting decision.
The ITV skating show returned to screens last Sunday as half of the 11 new celebrities took to the ice.
Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern also returned as hosts for the new series.
However, fans at home have been left furious after it was revealed the skate off has been ditched for the first elimination.
Viewers will have to wait until week two to see the first vote-off as the scores and votes from the first two weeks will be combined to determine who will leave.
Taking to social media, Dancing On Ice fans blasted the changes, with one writing: "I just can't figure out how they do that fairly when one is a six way vote and the other a five way vote."

A second wrote: "Baffling to axe the week two Skate Off considering how much padding was in episode 1 with an extra act, bigger opening number and T&D routine."
A third fan wrote in depth: "I'm also baffled as to how the voting is going to work. I THINK its probably that only after the vote has closed in week 2, the public vote points will be allocated 11-1 based on how many individual votes each have received in their respective weeks. This however still puts everyone who skated in week 1 at a disadvantage as there is an extra person to spread the vote around that week. It'll only be fair if the bottom 2 on the judge's leaderboard skate in week 2."
"This is a snafu of their own making by deciding not to have a replacement skater to ensure the numbers are even; there simply is no way to compare the public votes fairly," a fourth vented.
Meanwhile, The Sun revealed how feud mysteriously was sparked last night as Ferne McCann's fiancé Lorri Haines and her mum Gilly appeared frosty while sat in the audience together.
The pair were seated with Ferne's daughter Sunday in between them on Sunday's first live show, but according to our audience mole, they barely spoke.
Our spy said: "They didn't seem very close at all. They both spoke to Sunday but barely exchanged a work to each other.
"It was very bizarre, and it was clear there was some tension in the air.
"It's no secret Ferne and Lorri have had their struggles recently, so perhaps that's why things appeared strained."
