CORONATION Street actress Sydney Martin has amazed fans recently with a throwback photo that shows her looking completely different as a teen.

Sydney, who plays Betsy Swain on the ITV soap, is known for her character’s signature shoulder-length blonde hair.

However, a holiday snap she shared from December 2017 reveals a striking transformation.

In the photo, taken before she joined the cast of Coronation Street, Sydney sports dark brown waves cascading to her midriff.

This is in stark contrast to her current on screen look.
