A BBC News star was flooded with support by fans upon returning to screens after a major surgery.
Viewers of the 24-hour news channel were left thrilled by Rajini Vaidyanathan's social media update.

Rajini addressed the latest news concerning her health struggles with endometriosis.
Alongside a snap of her in the studio, she wrote: "Back after time off, as I recovered from #endometriosis surgery.
"It’ll help but won’t remove all the pain as no one quite knows what causes endo.
"Sharing to raise awareness - yesterday in parliament a minister said: “women with endometriosis have been failed for far too long”.

According to endometriosis is described as when cells similar to those present in the lining of the womb (uterus) grow in other parts of the body.
One of Rajini's followers responded: "Welcome back. I hope the surgery gives you some relief and any pain is manageable."
Another commented: "Wishing you a smooth recovery Rajini, hope you're managing. X."
A third penned: "It’s a horrendous condition. Hope your surgery gives you some relief.

Last summer, Rajini opened up to viewers about being diagnosed with endometriosis.
The correspondent and anchor had been missing from the studio as she underwent important surgery.
Posting a snap from the BBC News studio, she said: "Back in studio E this afternoon.
"I’ve been off for a bit as I had surgery which confirmed I have severe endometriosis. Next - to get rid of it.
"Sharing to raise awareness of the condition - took me over a decade (and checks in 3 continents) to finally get diagnosed this year."
