Who is Courtney Act?

Courtney Act - whose real name is Shane Gilberto Jenek - is an Australian singer, drag queen and TV personality.

She was born in Brisbane on February 18, 1982.

The Aussie kicked off her her TV carrer when she finished 13th on Australia Idol way back in 2003 and released a solo single titled Rub Me Wrong on the back of her performance on the show.

The popular star is also known for her showbiz friends, and counts Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall as her close pal.

Is Courtney Act married?

Courtney Act is not married, but she is in a long-term relationship.

Her partner is fellow Australian, model and actor, Meckenna Lind.

The couple met in 2016 and have been together ever since.

Courtney has spoken openly about wanting to get married and have children one day, but for now, she is happy with her life and career.

What has Courtney Act starred in?

Courtney Act is known for appearing in the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race - reaching the final with competitors Adore Delano and Bianca Del Rio, the eventual winner.

The entertainer also covered the 2016 US Presidential election as the foreign correspondent for an Australian pop culture website.

British TV fans also know her from her appearances on Single AF on MTV.

She has also appeared on ITV's Celebrity Karaoke Club, and Channel 4's Come Dine With Me.

Since 2022 Courtney Act has hosted ITV's Queen For The Night.

When was Cortney Act on Big Brother?

Courtney Act took the top prize and emerged as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother in February 2018.

In the live final she went head to head with Anne Widdecombe and won with 49.43 percent of the public vote.

In her post-house interview with Emma Willis, she said: "It's amazing to think the public have chosen me, it's validation for the beliefs I had coming in here.

"I guess coming into the house that it's validation to be different."
