Is Jeremy Clarkson back as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host?

Grand Tour host Jeremy Clarkson has filled the shoes of former host Chris Tarrant and is back for the 2022 series.

Since Jeremy took over from Chris Tarrant, only schoolteacher John Robinson has come close to winning £1,000,000.

He eventually decided to go home with £500,000 but Jeremy has hinted a millionaire could be found in the new series.

In 2020, Donald Fear, a history and politics teacher from Telford managed to answer all 15 questions before being announced the show's sixth millionaire.

They’ll be helped along the way by familiar lifelines of Ask The Audience; Phone a Friend and 50:50.

Before Clarkson started his presenting stint in 2018, the former Top Gear host said: “I have always loved the show and am thrilled to be involved with its rebirth.

"I’m a big fan of quiz shows and I’m looking forward to hosting this iconic TV show and hopefully making a few millionaires!”
