Who won The Voice 2020?

Blessing Chitapa was crowned the winner of The Voice 2020.

The 18-year-old and her coach Olly Murs won after beating other finalists Gevanni Hutton, Jonny Brooks and Brooke Scullion. Blessing said: “I have never worked so hard to make sure tears don’t come out of my eyes right now. I’m so happy.

“Winning The Voice UK 2020 is my biggest achievement yet.

“I am so proud of how far I have come and I’m so intrigued to see what the future holds for me.

“I’m hoping my new single Angels can bless and inspire people to think about a certain someone in their life who has always been there for them.”

What did the winner of The Voice 2020 get?

The winner of The Voice 2020 got a record deal with Polydor Records alongside the release of their debut single.

There is no cash prize for winning The Voice.

Winners previously got £100,000 before the show moved from BBC to ITV.

Who else is signed with Polydor Records?

Polydor is a British music label founded in 1954 as a British subsidiary of German company Deutsche Grammophon GmbH.

It was renamed Polydor in 1972 and is part of the Universal Music Group.

Their current portfolio includes Kendrick Lamar, Jax Jones and Grace Carter.

Last year’s Voice UK winner Ruti Olajugbagbe and 2017 winner Mo Jamil are also signed to Polydor Records.
