I’M a Celebrity viewers have hit out the ITV show’s new twist, which will see campmates having to pay to use the toilet, amid fears that it could spark health problems.

For the first time in the show's history, campmates are split into three teams of four and handed cash cards, to which they need to boost by winning challenges.

Given that showering and using the toilet incurs a cost, the campmates have to budget carefully, so as not to be caught short.

But now fans on social media have vented their concerns about this new detail, especially for the female contestants, who may be experiencing their time of the month.

One person complained: “Paying for the toilet is a bit much…what about the girls who get their time of the month? My IBS would have me spending all the money on the toilet in a day.”

Another person added: “Not liking the whole paying for the toilet thing - surely some camp mates have upset stomachs etc from fasting and eating rice and beans all time."

Meanwhile another viewer raised the concern that certain contestants might have a weak bladder.

They said: “Some people have a weak or small bladder and need to pee more frequently. Paying to use the toilet a bit much, when you gotta go, you gotta go. Don't agree with the toilet one. I think you could have let them 3 that got covered in all that get cleaned up first.”

The new challenge which draws a comparison with some of the tasks on Big Brother, was teased by hosts Ant n Dec in the ITV2 spin off show: Unpacked, the night before.

Dec said: "They’re going to have to pay for everything.

"If they want to use the dunny… Everything. Essentials…"

Ant added: "So they’ve got to weigh up, ‘do I have a treat, or do I get shower gel?’"

Meanwhile Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough continued to irritate viewers with his hysterics during another Bushtucker Trial.

The Northern Ireland-born presenter went head to head with McFly’s Danny Jones and Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall in the Rank Bank challenge.

First prize is 300 dollars, second place is 200 dollars and third is 100 dollars.

But Dean screamed in disgust as he emptied a box of raw pig testicles using his mouth.

He then had to use his teeth to pop fish eyes and transport the fish guts into another container.

But now it seems that the viewers have got wise to his attention grabbing tricks and took to social media to underscore that Dean is always the one moaning.

One said: “Danny and Alan just getting on with it, Dean whining and heaving again.”

Another person wrote: "Us getting to watch insufferable whining Dean through this trial along with all his campmates who can't stand him."

Meanwhile another person said that Dean is bone idle.

They said: “A third commented: "Dean whining when he's the laziest campmate."
