LOVE Island’s Jake Cornish has launched an expletive-loaded rant against his local council in Weston-Super-Mare, after he was slapped with a £75 fine.

The 26-year-old received the penalty for parking his car in the wrong place, while he was out on a walk with his dog Lennie.

Ranting on social media, the reality star said: “Thanks for ruining our dog walk, just got fined £75 for walking Lennie on a field. Even better from the council hiding the signs.”

He continued:  ‘” What p***d me off is the council, that sign has been overgrown and they haven’t got their f ***** maintenance team to cut around the sign. So I’ve got to pay them £75 in their back pocket just for them not doing their job.”

The part-time DJ who initially found fame on the 2021 series, made headlines earlier this year when he sensationally quit ITV’s Love Island All-Stars after just two days in the South African villa.

He was unhappy after being paired up again with his ex-Love Island girlfriend Liberty Poole, after a public vote.

Jake then told his fellow contestants that he’d decided to fly home, because he didn’t think that he was likely to find love and wasn’t prepared to feign interest for the cameras.

He said at the time: “I was here to find love and there is no one here that I have that connection with. “I love you all. That means you’ve all got to have fun and find love, just because I haven’t, doesn’t mean you lot can’t.”

Following his departure, he said in a statement: “After a few amazing days in the villa, I’ve decided to leave Love Island: All Stars as I’ve realised that now isn’t the right time for me to find love as I would never want to force a connection.

Based in the West Country, Jake is now focused on his DJ career and has promised his followers that new music will be released in the new future.
