Emmerdale fans cheer as Vicar Harriet threatens to expose Moira for murdering Emma Barton after mucky farmer shames her for Will relationship

EMMERDALE fans tonight cheered after vicar Harriet Finch took drastic measures to keep Moira Barton from exposing her relationship with Will.

The clergywoman - who is played by actress Katherine Dow Blyton in the ITV soap - has been secretly sleeping with her ex stalker Will.

Last night Bob Hope rumbled their affair and word soon got back to Moira.

And with the anniversary of her drug addict daughter Hollie approaching, Moira was horrified to discover her son Matty smoking weed on the farm.

Instead of waiting to find out who was responsible, Moira jumped to conclusions and decided Will was responsible - and she blamed Harriet for allowing him in the village.

She wasted no time in exposing the relationship in the middle of the church and threatened to have Harriet fired by the bishop.

However, fans were delighted when Harriet didn't take Moiras threats lying down and instead went to Butlers to issue her own threat.

She made it clear she would expose the truth about Moira killing Emma Barton and letting her son Adam take the blame for it.

She told Moira: "I'll tell you what I am Moira, I'm confused and this isn't like you.

"Do you really think I'd put you or your kids in this kind of danger?

"I wouldn't go there, not if I was you. I'm pointing out that when it comes to skeletons Moira, you're kind of an expert.

"It strikes me of very brave of you to hold anybody else to such high standards when Emma's been in the ground what, two years. Glass houses and stones. Be very careful."

Fans were shocked/delighted at Harriet putting Moira in her place.
