The criminal will take unholy revenge on both wife Moira and her employee-cum-lover Nate.

The soap says: ";Hell hath no fury like a Cain Dingle scorned."

It won't be a pleasant time for the the rest of the Dingle family either as realising the seriousness of Robert's situation, he and Aaron decide to go on the run.

Robert is facing years in prison for assaulting Victoria's rapist Lee with a shovel in the middle of the village's murder mystery day.

Lee is languishing in hospital with life threatening injuries and with a life behind bars being a real possibility, the couple decide to take the easy way out.

They plot to go on the run and make their escape before Robert's sentencing.

But they will be leaving behind their newest family member as Aaron's mum Chas finally goes into labour.

After the heartbreaking loss of baby Grace last year, Chas and Paddy have been nervously awaiting the birth of their miracle child.

Emmerdale's Robert Sugden makes a plan to leave the village after pleading guilty to assault

And in October the baby will be delivered successfully bringing light to an otherwise dark and dramatic autumn in the village.
