The Chase’s Bradley Walsh makes cheeky ‘in or out’ joke to MP Ruth Davidson on celeb special
THE Chase’s Bradley Walsh makes a cheeky “in or out” joke to MP Ruth Davidson this weekend as he puts her on the spot for a celebrity special.
Tomorrow the politician joins BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, reality star Ferne McCann and musician Mark King on the ITV quiz show to win cash for charity.
In a sneak peak of the show ahead, The Sun Online reveals the moment Bradley teases the Conservative about Brexit.
With a serious face, Bradley asks: “In or out?”
Using her political skills to dodge answering the question, Ruth replies: “Well, hopefully we’ll get plenty of money ‘in’ the bank.”
Bradley shouted: “No, you know what I mean. In or out?”
“I was always ‘in’,” confessed Ruth.
“Always in.”
Bradley then admits: “I’m out…. I’m talking about the hokey cokey.”
Ruth jokes: “Shake it all about!”
Last month the 40-year-old quit as Scottish Conservative leader after eight years in the job just weeks after Boris Johnson became Prime Minister.
She had backed Remain ahead of the EU referendum in 2016.
Ruth said she’d spent her time in politics putting her party and work first, but it was now time to step back to look after her family.
- The Chase Celebrity Special airs Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV.
