THE Apprentice’s Nick Hewer has revealed he turned down Strictly Come Dancing and said he would “rather eat his own leg” than go on I’m A Celebrity.
The Countdown presenter, 75, who was an adviser on reality show The Apprentice for a decade, told magazine: "Strictly came after me this year.
"A charming woman asked me to a meeting and I said, 'No, you'll beguile me. And if I did the show, we would both be disappointed.'”
He continued: "I'm A Celebrity... asked me, too. I'd rather eat my own leg."
Despite not wanting to do those shows, Nick did appear on Celebrity Bake Off last year and had a series of baking disasters.
Nick quit The Apprentice in 2014 after being on it from the very beginning, admitting he felt relief when he left.
He said at the time: "I've been pondering my departure from The Apprentice for a while and have decided that year 10 is the appropriate time.
"So I leave with relief, tinged with regret. Anyone can do what Karren and I have been doing, but it takes stamina to follow the candidates week after week, and my stamina is not up to those long weeks."

Nick does however still watch the show but but thinks these days the personalities are "more extreme" as everyone is after fame now.
He said: "Today everybody wants to be famous, so the big personalities are more extreme.
"That's not to say they're not talented, so I'm not going to pour scorn on them."
