WATCHING an Aardman film is as comforting as hot soup on a bitterly cold day.
This second outing for Shaun doesn’t break new ground but that is fine with me.
There is a UFO mystery in Mossingham and our woolly friend over at Mossy Bottom farm is caught slap bang in the middle of it when an alien (looking like it flew over from In The Night Garden) stows away in his barn.
Can Shaun return his new pal Lu-La home before the baddies (including a Magenta Devine lookalike) get their mitts on them first?
There is charm in the silent comedy.

It plays out like a cute version of Mr Bean packed with pop-culture references including ET: The Extra-Terrestrial, 2001: A Space Odyssey and even Hot Fuzz.
Chuck in some Tom And Jerry-style capers with Bitzer the sheepdog and you have a perfect rainy-Sunday tonic for your flock of little ones.
