Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney wed in front of 150 celeb guests including Adele and Kris Jenner at haunted castle
JENNIFER Lawrence and Cooke Maroney wed in a lavish celeb-packed ceremony at a haunted castle last night.
The A-list couple tied the knot in front of fellow showbiz royalty including Adele and Kris Jenner.
Their intimate but lavish nuptials were held at the historic Belcourt mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.
Oscar-winner Jennifer, 29, wore a Dior dress as she said "I do" to 34-year-old art dealer Cooke - who looked dapper in a classic tuxedo.
Following the romantic ceremony, guests were served up a hearty meal of smoked pork belly followed by roast beef and bread pudding.
Rugged hipster chefs were seen earlier preparing the mountains of grub in the gardens outside - complete with a massive wood-fire barbecue.
WEDDING BASH
Following the meal, guests were invited to really let their hair down at the glitzy party - with entertainment provided by covers band The Ruckus.
Also in attendance were fellow Hollywood queens Cameron Diaz and Emma Stone - who were pictured arriving in glam outfits.
Sienna Miller was also seen arriving at the reception a red, off-the-shoulder puffball dress.
Crowds of locals from the quiet town of Newport gathered outside the gates of the historic venue to catch a glimpse of the celeb guests.
But security was tight as J-Law and her new hubby rightly wanted their privacy respected on the big day.
There were several burly security guards surrounding the venue and blackout screens and fake hedges were put up.
Paramedics were called before the ceremony to treat a member of the wedding staff who was taken ill.
Dating back to 1894, Belcourt mansion fell into disrepair and had a reputation for hosting raucous sex parties in the 1990s.
It later offered ghost tours for spirit-hunters hoping to catch a glimpse of the supernatural.
The property was later bought over in 2012 by Carolyn Rafaelian, founder of the Alex and Ani accessories and jewellery company.
Renovation work to the mansion was completed in 2018 - and it now hosts weddings and operates as a museum.
The couple's special wedding day comes shortly after their engagement was confirmed in February.
The Sun Online recently reported J-Law's wedding gift wish list, which included a £400 robot mop.
She listed 49 “inspirational” items including a cork yoga mat, a marble rolling pin and a £288 set of cashmere travel accessories.
There is also a £368 Le Creuset pan and a £200 weighted blanket.

On the page, Jennifer writes: “Planning a wedding is so exciting, but it can be overwhelming.
For anyone else needing a little inspiration I thought it would be fun to collaborate with Amazon to share a few of my favourite registry wish-list items.”
Cooke, who works as director of the Gladstone Gallery in New York, had been described by a pal of Jennifer as “an ideal mate" for her.
“They have many of the same interests in the arts, culture and living a life that includes both of their passions, yet sits outside of it.
“They respect each other and see the world in a similar fashion.”
The couple were introduced by one of the Jennifer Lawrence's best friends, Laura Simpson in May 2018.
Jen and Cooke were first seen in public when they went on a dinner date back in June, 2018.
