Katie Price ‘quits Celebrity SAS after just two days despite £120k pay cheque’
KATIE Price has reportedly quit Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins just two days into filming - despite getting £120,000 for the gig.
The reality star, 41, is said to have been pinning her hopes of a comeback on the gruelling show but changed her mind after experiencing the tough conditions.
A source told them: "Katie was relying on this to turn her career around and show the public she can reinvent herself in a similar way to how she did in the Jungle back in 2004.
"She had all her hair braided to enable her to get really stuck in, but when she discovered she was going to be in Scotland she lost all motivation."
The insider added that Katie may not miss out on her hefty appearance fee.
"She says she's not bothered about the money but how can she not be?" they disclosed.
And it seems like Katie may have been pushed towards an early exit because bosses feared she would walk anyway.
The source revealed: She wont let on if she quit but she definitely quit in her mind and would have given up so she was kicked off."
An the mum of five was said to be over the moon when the boat arrived to pick her up.
"Katie has a real fear of the water but was happy when she was put on a boat and sent home," the mole told The Mirror.
"Everyone had high expectations for her, but to last only two days makes people think she done it just for the money."
The endurance show, presented by Middleton, Olly Ollerton, Mark Billingham and Jason Fox, sees a bunch of famous faces facing military challenges and is not for the faint-hearted.
Last series saw Andrea McLean having to quit due to hyperthermia, while Wayne Bridge went on to win the show.
If Katie has crashed out this early. it's just the latest setback for the troubled star.
Not only is the pin-up facing bankruptcy again after years of financial problems, but her son Junior has 'refused' to stay at her 'Mucky Mansion'.
She has also threatened to call the police on her ex Charles Drury after believing he was stealing from her.
