EMMERDALE actress Natalie J Robb has revealed the painful reality of filming passionate love scenes with co-star Jurell Carter.
Her character mucky Moira Barton's steamy affair with toyboy Nate Robinson was revealed to her husband, Cain Dingle, last night - but in reality the scene landed her with a broken toe.
Cain terrorised Pete Barton until he revealed the grim details, leaving viewers wondering what will come next.
Actress Natalie, 44, told today's Lorraine show "it definitely won't end well' for her feisty character.
Yet she opened up in filming the affair scenes in a cramped caravan with a shock confession, and told stand-in host Christine Lampard: "I fractured my pinky toe, my little toe, while we were filming the love scenes in the caravan."
Like a true pro, she continued filming and didn't let it disrupt the schedule.
Opening up on the wider impact of Moira's affair, Natalie said there would be more secrets as to why she did the dirty deed.
Admitting things will kick off, she said: "She's a bit bored, she's trapped.
"You will see there's maybe a reason for it.
"I think there's self sabotage in it, she is literally doing it on her own doorstep.
"Yet there will be a reason why she is doing it."
It remains to be seen the motive for Moira's actions, yet she admitted dramatic scenes to come which see her and Cain fighting on a boat were a completely new experience.
Jurell, whose character will also be on board, admitted he had to learn how to swim in order to shoot the exciting segment.
