What time is the Bake Off 2019 final on tonight?

THE Great British Bake Off final airs TONIGHT and will see he bakers prepare a signature chocolate cake in the hopes of winning the competition.

But who will reign victorious this year? - here is everything you need to know...

What will happen in The Great British Bake Off final?

Given it is the last episode of the series, the bakers will have to pull out all the stops to impress the judges to be crowned the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2019.

To determine if their culinary skills are enough to receive such an honour they must prepare a chocolate cake for the Signature.

Then, for the Technical Challenge the contestants must serve up a soufflé, one of the most delicate of dishes.

Finally, for the Showstopper they need to create an edible illusion using only cake, sweet bread and biscuits.

The baker with the most impressive dishes will be crowned the champion of The Great British Bake Off 2019.

When is The Great British Bake Off final?

The final will take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 on Channel 4 from 8pm to 9.15pm.

Three bakers will battle it out for a chance to be crowned The Great British Bake Off 2019 winner.

Presenting the show as usual are Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig, while Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will judge the series.

The last episode of the The Great British Bake Off 2019 will be available to watch on catch-up on the 4 Catch Up once it has aired on TV.

What happened in episode nine of The Great British Bake Off?

Episode nine of The Great British Bake Off saw Alice Fevronia named Star Baker for the second time, while Rosie, 28, was sent home.

The veterinary surgeon left the show after a despite winning the technical challenge even though she served up an upside-down choux bun to the judges.

Speaking after her elimination she said: “This one was particularly difficult, a rectangular two-layer croquembouche.

“But what would you expect in a Semi Final? Prue liked my crisp pastry and even though the choux buns were upside down, she said it was delicious and amazingly I came first in the Technical!

“It was my most stressful bake ever and yet I won it. I tried to keep talking to myself and to keep calm at all times.”
