Jeff Brazier admits marriage problems with Kate Dwyer as they unfollow each other – but insists they’re still together
JEFF Brazier today admitted there are problems in his marriage to Kate Dwyer after fans spotted that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The presenter and his wife have had "some difficulties" and are "doing their utmost to work through them together", his rep told The Sun Online.
However, dad-of-two Jeff and Kate, who got married in Portugal last year, have insisted they have not split and are very much still together.
A spokesman for the 40-year-old said: "There is categorically no split between Jeff and Kate.
"They have had some difficulties but they are doing their utmost to work through them together and will continue to do so in private."
Fans of the pair had spotted that they no longer followed one another on Instagram, sparking fears their relationship was in trouble.
They had not been pictured together since August, when Jeff posted pictures of them on a bank holiday break in Manchester with sons Bobby and Freddie.
Jeff, who shot to fame on 90s reality hit Shipwrecked before becoming a life coach and sports presenter, has long insisted Kate makes his life "complete".
Speaking to last year after his wedding to the PR director, Jeff explained: "I'm so happy to marry Kate, who has brought so much stability to my life.
“This isn't just any wedding, this is a really special one. It doesn't just represent Kate and I putting rings on each other's fingers.
"It represents the fact that we won at something really tricky. We won at becoming a family.
"Before, it was just three boys rattling around in a house on our own, trying to get through life. Then Kate came along and worked so hard at making us complete.
"She hasn't just completed one person, she's completed a family and given three boys a real sense of belonging."
Bobby, 16, and Freddie, 15, are his two sons with late Big Brother star Jade Goody, who died ten years ago in March.
The Sun Online revealed yesterday that Bobby has signed a modelling contract and even has his sights set on becoming a DJ.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Jeff said: "He's learning how to DJ because he's interested in that, so I'll obviously support that.
"He's signed up with a model agency because he had quite a few that wanted to take him on, and he hasn't done anything yet, but you know, that will be interesting to see what happens for him.
"I know he's quite sort of hopeful for what that might bring, and basically it just seems like there's a few opportunities available to him."
