The Apprentice’s Lewis Ellis strips naked to recreate Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball video

APPRENTICE candidate Lewis Ellis has proved he's just as confident outside of the boardroom by stripping naked to recreate Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball video.

The 28-year-old business hopeful bared it all as he swung from a tree in a bid to emulate Miley's famous 2013 music moment online.

The throwback clip, which was uploaded to his Instagram account, would certainly raise a few eyebrows with the likes of Lord Sugar.

Wearing nothing but a pair of Converse shoes, Lewis dramatically swings his arms around as Miley's hit song plays in the background.

The Lancashire born lad, who appears to be in the middle of a field, simply captioned the vid: "#WreckingBall."

This isn't the first time Lewis has shown his lad behaviour online.

Back in 2016, the digital marketing project manager duped the nation when he claimed he'd boarded the wrong boat from Ayia Napa and ended up in Syria.

He shared a photo from a desolate town with pals and captioned it: "Thought we were going on a boat trip, turns out we were on a boat transfer & ended up in Syria #fakeboatparty"

The image went viral and was splashed across social media worldwide - but Lewis eventually cracked and confessed he'd been joking all along.

He announced beneath the original post: "We just made it up for fun."

Lewis even got his own YouTube channel from the prank.

He told the Mirror at the time: “The last club closed at 7:30am so we just powered through to our 9am boat trip and ended up blagging our way onto the wrong boat.

"We were wearing board shorts, hungover, looking like we were ready for a boat party."

The Apprentice hopeful is a self-proclaimed “maverick” who doesn’t like to follow the rules, Lewis is confident his competitiveness and determination will see him through the process.

Last month, it was reported Lewis and fellow Apprentice candidate Lottie Lion, 19, hooked up during a trip to Finland.

The pair, who are both single, had grown close over several weeks sharing a luxurious house in London while filming the latest series.

A source said: “It was no secret among hopefuls that Lottie and Lewis had a night of passion together while abroad on a task.

“They tried to keep it on the down-low but word soon spread.”
