Coronation Street fans fear Gemma will die in labour as she gives birth in a cable car
CORONATION Street viewers fear Gemma Winter may die while giving birth to quadruplets.
Gemma is set to give birth on a cable car after heading to North Wales to enjoy a day out with boyfriend Chesney Brown.
But things take a dramatic turn when Gemma – who’s played by Dolly Rose Campbell in the soap - goes into labour 80ft in the air.
Fans have predicted the storyline may even turn fatal.
A viewer said: "Imagine if there were complications and they had to save either Gemma or the babies? It would be a good way to kill Gemma off for good."
While some believe the newborns may be in danger, saying: "Those Babies will be premature and need special cots if not incubators . The thought of them being born in a cable car with no proper facilities fills me with horror. Again I ask who has been the advisor for this or have they even had one?"
Another added: "I really hope the babies are alright if she has them this week. But delivering all four is a risk."
Last week, the Sun reported Gemma's labour wouldn't be without its complications as she gives birth in the cable car.
After giving birth, Gemma eventually wakes up in hospital and gazes at her four babies.
But as besotted as she is, she’s also terrified by the thought of caring for the tots.

As she struggles to express her milk, Ches (Sam Aston) and the nurse tell her she’s doing really well.
However, Gemma is soon stunned when she’s discharged but told that the babies need to stay in hospital in Wales.
To make matters worse, her mum Bernie has made the quads their own Instagram account, which leaves her furious.
