Corrie fans spot ‘blunder’ as Gemma walks around immediately after C-section as she welcomes her quadruplets
CORONATION Street viewers think they spotted a blunder on tonight's show as Gemma Winter was up and walking just moments after apparently having a C-section.
In dramatic scenes tonight, the character - who’s played by Dolly Rose Campbell in the ITV soap - gave birth to her first baby while 80ft in the air on a cable car before being rushed to hospital where she had the other three.

But those watching at home weren't convinced that she would be up and about so soon if she had a c-section and they took to Twitter to discuss it.
One person wrote: “Coronation street. Emergency c section under a general anaesthetic ... and there she is walking around a NICU unit, snogging Chesney’s face off. Yeah... that’s true to life. That event would have been so traumatic. Massive fail #coronationstreet.”
Another added: “So realistic tonight’s episode. Gemma had 1 baby vaginally, 3 under general anaesthetic yet she’s up walking about seeing babies in SCBU #coronationstreet.”
While someone else wrote: “#coronationstreet what a ridiculous storyline, Gemma and Chesney. What are the chances the ring would be found and Gemma walking around almost immediately after a c section. Come on writers some attention to detail please!”

The drama kicked off when Gemma's waters broke just moments after Chesney (Sam Aston) tried to pop the question.
In typical soap fashion his proposal doesn't go according to plan as he manages to drop the ring in process.
She then notices her waters have broken and while Chesney speaks to the ambulance on the phone, she ends up giving birth to the first of her babies.
Once they get back to the ground they are rushed to hospital - and after giving birth to another baby in the ambulance - the other two are delivered at the hospital.
As the couple gaze at all their four babies, Gemma tells Chesney that she will marry him and he produces the ring again,which her mum had found in the bushes.
In upcoming scenes viewers will watch as Gemma is left terrified by the thought of caring for the tots.
As she struggles to express her milk, Ches and the nurse tell her she’s doing really well.

But Gemma is soon stunned when she’s discharged but told that the babies need to stay in hospital in Wales.
And when she discovers that mum, Bernie, has made the quads their own Instagram account, she’s furious.
Even the news that she and Ches are booked into a hotel near the hospital does little to cheer her up.

Later, Gemma is stunned when Cathy Matthews tells her that she and Ches are booked into a posh hotel as long as they can use the Cable Car Quads in their promotions.
