Coronation Street fans spot huge blunder as Gemma gives birth to quadruplets with her leggings on
CORONATION Street viewers were in stitches last night after claiming Gemma Winter kept her leggings on while giving birth to her first child.
In dramatic scenes Gemma [Dolly-Rose Campbell] went into labour 80ft up in the air in a cable car before being rushed to hospital to deliver her three remaining babies.

But soaps fans were left baffled as Gemma appeared to keep her legs covered as panicked boyfriend Chesney watched on.
One viewer posted on Twitter: "Has Gemma still got her leggings on?🤣 #Corrie."
Another wrote: "Is Gemma wearing leggings or a skirt? Because if it’s the former, she’s doing a “Daphne from Neighbours” in not pulling them down first before giving birth #Corrie."
As a third said: "How can we see what’s happeningif Gemma still has her frickin leggings on #Corrie."

It wasn't the only gaffe either, as some noticed Gemma up walking just moments after having a C-section.
But those watching at home weren't convinced that she would be up and about so soon after the procedure and took to Twitter to discuss it.
One person wrote: “Coronation street. Emergency c section under a general anaesthetic ... and there she is walking around a NICU unit, snogging Chesney’s face off. Yeah... that’s true to life. That event would have been so traumatic. Massive fail #coronationstreet.”
Another added: “So realistic tonight’s episode. Gemma had 1 baby vaginally, 3 under general anaesthetic yet she’s up walking about seeing babies in SCBU #coronationstreet.”
While someone else wrote: “#coronationstreet what a ridiculous storyline, Gemma and Chesney. What are the chances the ring would be found and Gemma walking around almost immediately after a c section. Come on writers some attention to detail please!”

The drama kicked off when Gemma's waters broke just moments after Chesney (Sam Aston) tried to pop the question.
In typical soap fashion his proposal didn't go according to plan as he dropped the ring in process.
She then noticed her waters had broken and while Chesney spoke to the ambulance on the phone, she ended up giving birth to the first of her babies.
Once they got back to the ground they were rushed to hospital - and after giving birth to another baby in the ambulance - the other two were delivered at the hospital.
As the couple gazed at all their babies, Gemma told Chesney that she would marry him and he produced the ring again, which her mum had found in the bushes.
In upcoming scenes viewers will watch as Gemma is left terrified by the thought of caring for the tots.
As she struggles to express her milk, Ches and the nurse tell her she’s doing really well.

But Gemma is soon stunned when she’s discharged but told that the babies need to stay in hospital in Wales.
And when she discovers that mum, Bernie, has made the quads their own Instagram account, she’s furious.
Even the news that she and Ches are booked into a hotel near the hospital does little to cheer her up.

Later, Gemma is stunned when Cathy Matthews tells her that she and Ches are booked into a posh hotel as long as they can use the Cable Car Quads in their promotions.
