Who is Anthony Daniels?
Anthony Daniels is an English actor and mime artist.
He was born on February 21, 1946 in Salisbury to a plastics company executive.
After studying at Giggleswick School he read law for two years at uni but decided to take a different route into the world of entertainment.
His first taste of acting came when he worked on BBC Radio and for the National Theatre at The Young Vic.
It was while he was working in theatre that he had the fateful introduction to George Lucas - who was casting for Star Wars.
Anthony is of course best known for his long-standing role of C-3PO but he also has other performances under his belt.
Such as his recurring role in Prime Suspect alongside Helen Mirren, as well as the 1990 flick I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle.
He has also had an extensive career as a voice over artist in productions such as Lego Star wars, The Lego Movie, Robot Chicken and 1978 animated The Lord of the Rings adaption, to name a few!
The actor is set to release his autobiography, I Am C-3PO on November 5, 2019.

Anthony revealed that the golden android does something in the movie that surprises everyone.
The 73-year-old told : “He keeps his clothes on. It’s not like he suddenly does this thing, but..."
He also let slip a snippet of dialogue from the movie, saying: "My first line would not go in my head. The line that I couldn’t say was two words: ‘common emblem'.
"Common emblem, common emblem — I would say them thousands of times. My wife would say it back. I just couldn’t say them!”
