Dancing On Ice’s Ian ‘H’ Watkins doesn’t miss a step during training with same-sex dance partner

IAN ‘H’ Watkins appears to be taking to ice skating like a duck to water as he starts practising moves.

The former Steps star, 43, is performing with professional skater Matt Evers, 43, in Dancing on Ice’s first ever same sex couple.

Ian was put through his paces in the private session and could be seen frowning with concentration.

The American pro had him practising turns, solo skating and skating holding hands.

We revealed that Ian had put in a request to dance on the show with a man which the show were happy to accommodate.

He has since been "totally overwhelmed" by the reaction and said he was touched by fans' support on Twitter.

Ian also revealed that he was so desperate to do Dancing on Ice he auditioned THREE times.

Speaking to hosts Good Morning Britain, H joked he revealed it was a case of third times a charm for getting on the show and said he had been watching videos of former contestants in the hope he won't be a Tragedy on the dance floor.

Fans will have to wait to see the duo skate on telly until the show launches in January next year.
