HOLLYOAKS has filmed SEVEN endings to Mercedes McQueen's horror shooting - and none of the cast know who has done it.
The hellraiser - who is played by actress Jennifer Metcalfe in the Channel 4 soap - will be shot tonight after she is exposed for all her misdeeds over the last few months.
There are seven official suspects with James Nightingale, Grace Black, Breda McQueen, Sylver McQueen, Liam Donovan, Joel Dexter and Diane Hutchinson all in the frame for the attempted murder.
The real identity of the would-be killer is a closely guarded secret but The Sun Online can reveal the soap shot all seven scenes so no-one knows.
Shooting the scenes took three days with actress Jennifer having to repeatedly dance around the club on her own before each shooting.
She said: "It was three days of me dancing on my own to [Sophie Ellis Bexter's] Murder on the Dancefloor, but I heard that song a lot!
"Got the Radio One Live Lounge version too. Me dancing my brains out for three days, private rave proper going for it. I used to feel silly about stuff like that but you have to commit."
Describing the moment Mercedes is confronted by all her enemies, Jennifer says it doesn't take long until she hits back and fires at them all with her own venomous insults.
She said: "She turns on everybody and doesn’t care, it's a massive up-yours to them all.
"It's just because she can, everyone takes it time and time again. Mercedes has been through a lot, but particularly nine months drug addiction, affair, lost a husband, got married again, it was too much.

"She’s never done drugs before, and that story was the first time I ever felt not sure she’d start being addicted to cocaine at her age, but how they wrote it was so good it worked and I went with it and trusted the writers.
"When she was doing it with the kids in the house, I couldn’t believe it. And it got her to this point, after this year if the girls going to have a breakdown it's going to be now."
