Jennifer Aniston admits she spends so long at home alone she ‘loses touch with the real world’
JENNIFER Aniston has admitted she spends so long at home alone she "loses touch with the real world".
The 50-year-old star confessed to "isolating" herself in a candid new interview alongside Reese Witherspoon for the pair's new Apple TV+ drama The Morning Show.
Jennifer plays TV anchor Alex Levy in the new programme and said she can relate to her character's experiences of being in the public eye.
When asked how she personally copes with fans thinking that they "know" her, the actress explained: "There are ways that I related to Alex in terms of I find myself at times isolating a little bit more."
She added to : "I love being at home, home is a very comfortable, safe space, but if you stay at home for too long you will become isolated and lose touch of what's going on in the real world."
Jennifer shot to fame in the 90s playing Rachel Green in US sitcom Friends, which aired for 10 years before the finale in 2004.
Her rise to superstardom saw Jennifer's personal life dominate the headlines at the time - including her highly-publicised romance with Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.
The pair tied the knot in 2000 before splitting in 2005, with Brad raising eyebrows when he immediately moved on with second wife Angelina Jolie, who he broke up with in 2016.
Jennifer has battled to keep her private life private ever since, but "broke the internet" last month when she finally offered fans a sneak into her day-to-day by joining Instagram.
The beauty broke Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's world record of becoming the fastest ever account to reach one million followers, sending fans into meltdown with her iconic first post.
The debut image was a selfie featuring all six Friends co-stars, sparking speculation that a reunion could be in the works.
She later teased that the cast are working on "something" together, before confirming that it will not be a reboot of the popular show.
