Following the elimination, there are just seven stars left in the competition, with a series 17 winner set to be crowned during the final on Saturday December 14.

He exited the competition after taking on series favourite Michelle Visage in the dance-off.

Who topped the Strictly leader board?

Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard topped the leader board in week eight with an impressive 39 point - an almost perfect score.

Shockingly, Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice received the fewest votes from the public, along with Mike Bushell and Katya Jones, meaning they were in the dance-off despite being second top.

Although Karim Zeroual has consistently scored high throughout the series, he found himself near the bottom of the leader board this week after making a mistake during his routine.

Fortunately, he secured enough votes from viewers to avoid having to compete in the dance-off.

What time is Strictly on TV next?

Strictly Come Dancing will be returning to BBC One next Saturday (November 16) with another celebrity set for elimination the following day.

On Saturday, the show will kick off at 7.05pm, and will then air at 7.15pm on the Sunday.

The winner of Strictly 2019 will be announced during the final, which is airing on Saturday, December 14.
