This Morning’s Alison Hammond ‘becomes latest Celebs Go Dating signing’
THIS Morning favourite Alison Hammond is set to appear on the next series of Celebs Go Dating.
The fun-loving presenter, 44, is talking to show bosses and is now reportedly ready to find love again two years after splitting from ex-boyfriend Jamie Savage.
A source told : "Alison has been single for some time now. She's always prioritised her career and being a mum to her son.
"But now she's keen to meet someone as he's getting slightly older and she'd love to be romantically involved with a partner.
"Alison is the perfect singleton to take part, she's always laughing and up for having a good time."
The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Alison for comment.
Towie star James Lock will join mother-of-one Alison, who has son Aidan, 13, from her relationship with taxi driver Noureddine Boufaied, on Celebs Go Dating as he looks for love after his split from Yazmin Oukhellou.
Meanwhile, The Sun exclusively revealed last week how Alison has been given the thumbs up for an hour-long chat show.
Alison Hammond’s Happy Hour will see her interview her celeb pals and other guests, and feature makeovers, exercise regimes and fun lifestyle segments.
There will be appearances from her chums from This Morning and Loose Women — on which she is an occasional panellist — plus people she met while competing on Strictly Come Dancing, I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here and Celebrity MasterChef.
The show is likely to air in the afternoon.
A source said: “Producers have been increasingly impressed with Alison’s comic timing and prowess at interviewing stars. Her down-to-earth and quick-witted personality have made her a hit with viewers and producers think she’s ready for the limelight.”
