Does The Crown focus on Her Majesty’s Silver Jubilee?

Series three of The Crown will focus on events that took place between 1964 and 1976, including Charles’ investiture as the Prince of Wales as well as his first encounter with Camilla Parker Bowles.

Olivia Colman replaces Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II, and the monarch’s Silver Jubilee is also a key part of the season.

Peter recently spoke about the underlying tensions in the third season of the hit show, saying: “The Crown rearranges everything within that family.

“It rearranges precedents, principles and priorities and they can’t be who they might want to be or indeed who they’re best suited to be.”
